Testing 3.1

Testing 3.1 is an application for conducting multiple-choice examinations under Windows environment. The Software supports test sets (i.e. tests on multiple subjects with the predefined number of questions on each subject with different points assigned on each part). This feature can also be used to conduct tests with multiple groups of questions with different difficulty in each group, so assigning different points for questions in each group.

Testing 3.1 supports encoded test files. Encoding utility is included.

The main difference from other similar software is in file format - Testing 3.1 uses standard RTF files, so the test files can be created using regular text editors (MS Word, WordPad, etc) without requiring to learn special test creation software as most similar applications do. The format supports different fonts, embedded pictures, formulas, etc, so the software can be used for testing on math, physics, and other subjects where textual information is not enough.

Testing 3.1 generates protocols for each run, so the answers can be analyzed.

Different points can be given for correct answer, incorrect answer and unanswered questions. Time limit can be enforced on each question or on entire test.

Since the software has been developed for particular use (some schools in the city) the sample tests included are in Uzbek-latin, the default language when installed is Uzbek, and on some the software might not work as expected (has been developed for and works perfectly on Win98).
