Here
are some projects I've done in my spare time. Don't forget to check the
featured projects, commersial projects, and Shareware.
They are freeware, so use them at your own risk. In other words, NO
MONEY - NO WARRANTY.
All of them are available in source code form. The source is in MS Visual
C++ 6.0 (it should work in v5.0 though) unless otherwise specified.
If you have any idea on improving the software, believe you have found
bug, have fixed a bug, or just want to say THANKS, contact me at akbaraka@yahoo.com
The projects are listed in reverse chronological order.

The ‘Resolution Changer’ program allows you to change
the resolution of the desktop more easily.
When you start the program, it adds an icon to your system tray
(near the clock).
Left click on the icon displays menu with a set of supported resolutions
(only modes with maximal supported frequency at each resolution
is listed). Currently selected resolution is checked. Choosing an
option will change the resolution. Custom modes are supported, meaning
you can specify modes that are supported, but not listed by the
current driver. (Yeah, sounds strange, but sometimes is needed)
It's recommended to put the executable to Start-Up folder in the
Main menu.
New version supports setting resolution from command-line parameters
and restores original setting on user log-off. |
